Sealed Bids for the construction of the Police Department Stormwater Deterntion Replacement project will be received by the City of Hubbard, at the Office of the Auditor, located at the City Administration Building, 220 West Liberty Street, Hubbard, OH 44425 until 10:00 am Eastern Standard Time on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at Council Chambers, City Administration Building immediately thereafter.
Project includes, but is not limited to, the demolition and abandonment of existing stormwater detention facilities and installation of six(6) StormTech MC-3500 Chambers with end caps, various storm conduit relocations/re-connections and site restoration at the City's Police Station located at 233 School Street.
Plans and specifications are available at the office of the Engineer, ms consultants, inc., 333 East Federal Street, Youngstown, Ohio, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Sets purchased in person may be obtained for a payment of $50.00. Sets shipped to bidders will require a payment of $60.00. Said payments are NON-REFUNDABLE. All checks shall be made payable to ms consultants, inc. Each bidder must be a registered plan holder with ms consultants, inc. to be eligible to submit a bid for this project.
Bidding documents are sold as complete sets; no partial or incomplete sets can be purchased. No refund will be allowed for the return of any bidding documents at any time.
No pre-bid meeting will be conducted.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding.
Bids for the above-described work must be submitted on blanks furnished with the Bid Submittal Document. Said bids must be submitted as one original and one copy.
Bidders shall furnish proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in Article 3 of the Instructions to Bidders.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with Article 8 in the Instructions to Bidders.
Bidders shall comply with all statutory requirements in accordance with Article 24 of the Instructions to Bidders.
Contract Times for completion and provisions on liquidated and special damages, if any, are indicated in the Agreement.
