NEWS REPORTER WANTED
The Sentinel - a daily newspaper based in Lewistown, PA - has an immediate opening for a full-time news reporter.
This reporter will primarily cover the agriculture, police and municipal government beats (which includes attending borough council and township supervisors meetings) and perform other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will also be the Sunday evening page designer, laying out the pages for each Monday's edition.
The schedule for this full-time hourly position is Sunday through Thursday. Sunday is approximately 4:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m. and Monday through Thursday is approximately 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Experience as a college or professional reporter and/or page designer is preferred. Access to a personal vehicle for business-related travel is required.
