Key Account Manager
Prior media sales experience is required. Minimum of 3-5 years experience negotiating with major accounts. College degree is required.
Responsibilities include managing and servicing a substantial list of key regional and local agency station accounts. Building relationships and rapport with key accounts while advancing share and maintaining higher rates along with lengthening account lifecycle. Manage and coordinate projects related to key accounts. Meet or exceed targets and revenue across present and prospective accounts. Strategize and execute business developments and marketing plans to increase station awareness and identify "elephant" accounts. Provide consultation on the value of radio to new prospects.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of competitive media such as cable, newspaper, outdoor, internet and local television.
