Ossineke Township - Zoning Ordinance Amendment

On November 10, 2018, the Ossineke Township Board of Trustees adopted Ordinance 1 of 2018 containing zoning ordinance amendments relating to solar energy which take effect on November 23, 2018. full text of the amendments is available on

the Ossineke Township Hall at 9041 W. Nicholson Hill Road, Hubbard Lake, Michigan. The amendments modify the Ossineke Township Zoning Ordinance as follows: Amend Section 2.1 (definitions) to add definitions for solar energy facility (utility-scale) and solar energy panels (accessory). Amend Section 4.0 (Table of Permitted and Special Land Uses) to add solar energy facility (utility-scale) as a permitted use in FF-1 and to add solar energy panels (accessory) as a permitted use in all districts. Amend Article 7 to add Section 7.27A Solar Energy Facilities (Utility Scale) and Section 7.27B Solar Energy Panels (Accessory) containing supplemental regulations for each.

Notice is hereby given that the United States of America, acting through an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) / Farm Service Agency (FSA) will sell the following real property:

This property is offered for sale by sealed bid. Terms for the sale are contained in Form FSA-2592, "Invitation, Bid and Acceptance Sale of Real Property by the United States." The successful bidder will be required to deposit 10% of their bid in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, postal or bank money order, or bank draft payable to Farm Service Agency, plus any other conditions relating to acceptance. Along with the general public this property is being offered for sale to all farmers or ranchers who are prevailing claimants in the civil action PIGFORD vs. VILSACK. Prevailing claimants may exercise their right to priority consideration to purchase inventory property under the Consent Decree between the time of the advertisement and COB ON THE DAY THE BIDS ARE DUE if they notify FSA, in writing, of their intent. A Prevailing Claimant can exercise priority consideration by writing or filing at the local FSA office.
The property will be sold in its "AS IS' condition. FSA sells all inventory properties by quit-claim deed and recommend the buyer obtain an owners title insurance policy.
